Sisters and Brothers, As many of you know, this afternoon, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker issued a “Stay Home” Order across the state of Illinois. This order will go into effect at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21 and last through April 7. Construction work will continue. Construction has been declared “essential” work, and so members WILL BE PERMITTED to continue
Under the current circumstances with the Covid 19 virus, for the protection and safety of our membership and employees, all business at the Local 502 office and the pension and health and welfare will take place through the window in the main lobby. There will be an election for delegates for the OPCMIA International Convention.The election will be on June 8, 2019. The election will take place at the Plasterer and Cement Mason Local 502 area 5 Union hall at 739 S. 25th Ave, Bellwood, IL. Polls will be open from 8:00AM to 2:00PM.
