It has been several months since we were able to hold a Union meeting. There will be a Union meeting on Tuesday, August 4,2020 at 7:00 P.M. There will be allowed a maximum of 50 members in the building and a maximum of 100 members outside. You must enter through the rear doors of the hall and no one will be permitted in prior to 7:00 P.M.Be sure to have a facemark and practice social distancing since we must follow State guidelines.
Nomination of officers!!
On Tuesday August 11,2020 at 7:00 P.M. an ADVERTISED SPECIAL MEETING will be held for the Nomination of Officers for the General Election of the Cement Masons’ Union Local 502 and Plasterers’ Area 5, in accordance with Article 6 of the Constitution . Article 6,Sec. (b),Paragraph 3, A memeber shall be considered in good standingif at no time in the twelve months precedeing the date of the nomination meeting he owed more than two months local dues,working dues or local assessments to the Local Union and/or working dues or International assessments to the International Association including any financial obligations owed for the month in which the nomination meeting is being held.This meaning, your over the counter dues must have been paid by FEBRUARY 29,2020. You must enter through the rear doors and wear a face mask and not enter prior to 7:00P.M.
A SPECIAL ADVERTISED MEETING will be held on Saturday September 12,2020 at 9:00 A.M. in accordance with Articles 18:04 and 19:04 of the Constitution, for the purpose of reading the Annual Financial Reports of the Pension Plan, Welfare Plan,Apprentice fund, Annuity Plan and also Article10 Sec.(CC)1 of the Local By-Laws for the purpose of reading the Annual Financial Report of the Union and Savings Fund, Article 29,Sec.,(G)and the LMCC. Copies of the Report will be made available to all members and a copy of the same shall be placed on the bulletin board in compliance with Section 9 (F),(b),(2) of the Taft-Hartley Act.

NOTICE OF ELECTION!!
On Saturday September 19,2020, the Election of Officers will be held with polls to be open from 10:00 A.M. untill 6:00 P.M.under Article 7 Sec.(E0of the Constitution. The Election will be held in our Training Facility and at this Election you will proceed to vote and then asked to leave the premises since we cannot have anyone lingering on the property.
For candidates running for Office you will be unable to have any food or beverages on your truck.There will not be any tents set up for anyone to congregate under. Candidates will for a line to greet members who come out to vote. Letters to follow with explanation of the voting process due to the Covid-19.
